1.  🐍 Zara launches in China with Bambuser 

   Zara and Bambuser have extended their partnership to China and plan to host live shopping shows to coincide with the launch of its Chinese New Year collection. This move is expected to enhance Zara's digital strategy in one of the world's largest e-commerce markets. China has been the global leader in livestream shopping, with over half of consumers using the medium to shop. Read more.

2. 👾 Walmart and Zepeto launch a metaverse

   Walmart is making a big push into the metaverse with its latest launch on Zepeto, a popular digital avatar platform. Zepeto users, who are mostly Gen-Z and female, can now buy real-world versions of virtual Walmart clothing directly through the app. This marks Walmart's third metaverse e-commerce experience, following partnerships with Roblox and the creation of its own virtual world, Walmart Realm. 3. 🦾 NVIDIA’s blueprint for AI-powered shopping assistants

   NVIDIA has launched its AI Blueprint for retail shopping assistants, a generative AI reference workflow set to transform both online and in-store shopping experiences. This blueprint, built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA Omniverse platforms, allows retailers to deploy AI-powered digital assistants that work alongside human employees to deliver smarter, personalised customer experiences.
