    Currys, a British electrical goods retailer, has partnered with video commerce provider Bambuser to improve the shopping experience for its customers. This collaboration responds to the rise of e-commerce and evolving consumer behaviours.   2. 💰The first $1 million shopping livestream on TikTok

    TikTok recently hosted its first $1 million shopping livestream, Canvas Beauty achieved this milestone on June 8th with a 6-hour broadcast hosted by CEO Stormi Steele, attracting 10,000 viewers. This surpassed previous records set by Simply Mandys and Jeffree Star. TikTok aims for $12-$13 billion in Gross Merchandise Value in the U.S. in late 2024, leveraging unique content-driven sales rather than traditional search methods. Learn more.

  3. 🎲 Disney introduces shoppable formats, ‘advergaming’
    Disney is shaking up the Connected TV (CTV) ad game with new shoppable ad and advergaming formats. Shoppable ads, like Impulse with a "scan to shop" prompt, allow viewers to seamlessly buy products directly from their phones. Disney claims these are the first-of-their-kind for CTV.
